LGBTQAI + REFUGEE CAMPAIGN

We are building an LGBTQIA+ Refugee campaign around a short film to show how creativity and the arts can drive policy change, in partnership with leading NGOs and advocates.

Queer refugees in the UK face a unique set of challenges, such as fleeing persecution due to their sexual orientation or gender identity, only to encounter further barriers within the asylum system, housing, and integration processes. Thankfully, several dedicated organizations work tirelessly to provide safety, advocacy, and community for LGBTQI+ people seeking refuge. This guide highlights three leading UK-based NGOs - Rainbow Migration, Micro Rainbow, and Say It Loud Club - offering practical ways for supporters to get involved and vital information for queer refugees seeking support. Whether you’re looking to help or in need of help, these resources can make a meaningful difference.
